Privacy

This website does not sell or share your personal information. Information you submit through the contact form (name, business name, email, phone, and message) is delivered to RA Ledger Solutions through Netlify Forms, the form-handling service provided by our website host, and is used only to respond to your inquiry. Emails sent to info@raledgersolutions.com are delivered to us through an email forwarding service and are likewise used only to respond to you.

RA Ledger Solutions does not take custody or control of client funds. Bank accounts remain in the client’s name and under the client’s control, and the client authorizes all disbursements.

The Free Tools on this site (the Books Checkup and the Runway Check) run entirely in your web browser. Your answers and numbers are not saved, collected or sent to us or anyone else, and the tools set no cookies. Their results are general information only and are not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice.

Online booking uses Google Calendar appointment scheduling, and our listings on Google and the QuickBooks ProAdvisor directory are run by those companies. Information you give them is handled under their own privacy policies.

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our web host, Netlify, automatically processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, and fonts on this website and the Client Portal load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.

Email, web forms and phone calls are not fully secure ways to share information. Please don’t send Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or passwords through them. Once we work together, documents are exchanged through the Client Portal or another secure method we arrange with you.

Client financial documents are never requested or exchanged through this public website or its contact form.

Client Portal. Clients with a signed engagement letter may receive an account on our Client Portal at portal.raledgersolutions.com, a separate, password-protected system for exchanging documents, messages, reports and invoices. Accounts are created only by RA Ledger Solutions, for active clients. Files and messages in a client’s portal account are available only to that client’s login and to our staff.

The portal uses a single login cookie that is strictly necessary for signing in. It ends when you sign out or after 14 days, and the portal uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Passwords are stored only in hashed (scrambled) form, repeated failed sign-in attempts are temporarily blocked, and portal email notifications only say that something new is waiting; they never include its contents. If you install the portal on your phone, it stores only the app’s own pages and icons on the device, not your documents or financial information.

If an invoice includes a “Pay online” link, the payment is processed by that payment provider (for example, QuickBooks or Stripe) under its own terms and privacy policy, and your card or bank account numbers are entered with that provider, not in our portal.

Please keep your portal password private and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards, and if a security breach affects your personal information we will notify you as required by New York law. Portal records are kept as described in your engagement letter.

Contact form messages and emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records. To ask us to delete your information, email info@raledgersolutions.com. This website and the portal are intended for business owners and are not directed to children under 13.

Terms of Service

• Content on this site is general information about our services and does not constitute an engagement, financial advice, or tax advice. An engagement begins only once both parties agree to specific terms.
• RA Ledger Solutions provides bookkeeping and advisory services. We are not a CPA firm and do not provide audit, attest, review, compilation, or other assurance services.
• All engagements are formalized through a written engagement letter or agreement outlining scope of work, fees, and responsibilities before work begins. Our responsibility is limited to the services expressly described in that written agreement.
• Bookkeeping services are performed using information and source documents provided by the client. The client remains responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that information, for maintaining its own records, and for reviewing and approving financial reports and filings.
• The Client Portal is for authorized clients and our staff only. Its use is also governed by your engagement letter, and you are responsible for keeping your login private and for activity under your account.
• We do not provide legal advice or investment advice, and nothing on this site or in our services should be relied on as such. Questions involving entity formation, contracts, or investment selection should be directed to a licensed attorney or investment adviser.
• Website content, including the Free Tools, is provided “as is” for general information only, without warranties of any kind, and may not reflect the most recent changes in law or regulation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RA Ledger Solutions is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this website or its tools.
• Links to other websites, such as Google and Intuit, are provided for convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.
• Professional credentials shown on this site are held individually by the accountant who serves RA Ledger Solutions clients. An enrolled agent is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service; this does not mean the IRS endorses our services.

Text Message Alerts (SMS)

Program name: RA Ledger Solutions Call Alerts.

When someone leaves a message with our automated phone assistant, we send an internal text alert to the business owner’s own mobile number with the caller’s name, callback number and reason for calling. We send no texts to clients, callers or the public, and we send no marketing texts.

Message frequency varies with the number of calls, typically a few a week. Message and data rates may apply.

Mobile numbers and opt-in information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
